House on the Hill
The House on the Hill is a self-catering cottage located at the top end of Long Street in McGregor. Dating from 1865, the House on the Hill is one of the oldest cottages in town. Restored and renovated, the owners have equipped and decorated it with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern comforts.
From the front gate, cross the road to the entrance of a natural Karoo veld reserve which is great for walking and hiking. The cottage is also perfect for long, lazy afternoons of stoep sitting or lazing next to the pool.
Rates :
R900 per night (for 1 – 2 people)
R1200 (3 – 4 people)
Cleaning fee: R500
Not suitable for families with children under 5 who are not swim-safe.
